House in Phu Nhuan

We've moved in to the house on Dao Duy Anh Street. The house is on the corner and has an L-shaped courtyard/garden. One side has a fish pond, which is currently empty. The other side has lots of tropical plants. The rainy season last until November so the plants are really happy right now. Of course, I have no idea what any of the plants are since tropical gardening is new to me. Isn't it nice to work at home and have a garden just a few steps away? Sadie loves to sun herself on the terracotta tiles outside.
The traditional brooms are made from the coconut tree. It's easy to sweep one handed, and they make this great sound as you sweep across the stones.
